From The Greenhouse
The greenhouse is a life-saver to get seedlings started to plant for summer crops. It lets us get a headstart, planting the seeds no matter what the weather.
The greenhouse is abuzz from mid-February through May.
We grow from seed all our organic seedlings that will be planted in the gardens such as but not limited to onions, leeks, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, salad greens, celery, parsley, basil, broccoli, spinach, Brussels sprouts, and a wide variety of early, plum, cherry and heirloom tomatoes.
We have many seedlings available for purchase at the farm or at the farmers’ markets. Growing our own organic seedlings allows us to grow varieties known for their superb flavor and taste.
Seedlings as well as beautiful cut flowers are available at the farmers' markets we attend as well as at our farmstand on Rt. 49.
